A new study has found that increased exposure to nature has the power to reduce cravings of junk food, alcohol and cigarettes. Having a view of greenery creates a positive effect which helps curb these unhealthy cravings. These findings further confirm the importance of trees for good health and wellbeing.
So, in addition to the recommended weekly two hours of nature, it helps to have indoor plants and outdoor trees around your home and workplaces.
Does your workplace have a minimum of 25% greenery view? If not, consider organizing a CSR campaign with your team to plant trees inside and outside your office. Check out our recent campaign with Katalyst Technologies for some inspiration.
