Say Thanks to ASP Kids!
ASP Kids students will team up with ForestNation to raise funds and encourage the local community to make a difference and take care of our earth by making it greener.
You plant one, we plant one – for each tree purchased, ForestNation will plant another tree in a developing country to improve our environment.
As an added bonus ASP Kids students can look forward to watching their efforts grow before their eyes on the Tree Registry. Each tree kit comes with a unique code which allows the owner to name their tree, upload photos, express their values about the earth and see where the “sister tree” is planted.
We love the idea that our students can watch their “sister trees” grow on their own registry. This adds a world view to the fund-raiser, as our students will be able to learn more about developing countries and the importance of having an international view. It also encourages our students to use technology in order to follow-up with their sister trees online.
– ASP Kids
After School Programs, Inc. (ASP) is a non-profit organization established in 1991 to enhance, enrich, and meet the needs of Florida’s children, families and communities during the critical out-of-school hours. ASP was founded with the explicit mission of creating and implementing national models of high-quality, academic-focused, and personally enriching out of school time programming. For over twenty years, ASP has worked to improve student achievement and help children reach their fullest potential by providing innovative learning programs during before and after school, holidays, and summers.
At ASP Kids, we want to implement social responsibility values in our students, through direct actions. Replacing the usual cookie fund-raiser with tree planting, our kids will understand the importance of improving our direct environment, and planting the trees with their own hands will teach them that we have a responsibility in caring for the planet.
