Say Thanks to UNESCO!
I love trees because they sustain and preserve life more than anything else around us. Especially by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing the needed oxygen without which life would not be possible. Look at the Amazon; it’s full of life, thanks to trees. I care about the preservation of trees. It’s sad to see to see the rhythm/frequency at which trees are being cut and sold in African countries today. We should stop that. Imagine a world where everyone grows trees. An amazing world with less migraines and other respiratory health problems. A world where one could take a breath of fresh air all the time. Where the deserts will retreat and provide better living conditions for all who live near them.UNESCO love trees
– Guy Djoken, President of USFUCA (U.S. Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations)
USFUCA is using the ForestNation Tree Kits to share information. The importance of giving back to our earth who gives so much to us. We also want to empower people, through different events to give back and plant a tree. We are connected through good friends. We selected to be part of the movement because we believe in the mission, the vision and participating in creating a better world through positive change. We like how ForestNation inspires and allows people to share on the site to watch and see the growth. We love the message that anyone can do something (plant a tree) and it is all those little things that create real impact.
USFUCA is dedicated to the education for Sustainable Development which involves acquiring the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary to shape a sustainable future. It also means including key sustainable development issues into teaching and learning. It requires participatory teaching and learning methods that motivate and empower learners to take action.
