PS/MS 165's ForestNation
Say Thanks to PS/MS 165!
The funds raised will support our Recess program that provides children with supervised and safe athletic programs at recess to promote exercise and health. Provide more enrichment programs to expand our small garden.
Adding more trees and plants to our community, teach children that even though we live in the city – we are an Urban Forest & Garden… seeing the future that our school can be a “greenhouse” for seedlings that can then be planted in our community in sidewalks, abandoned lots and under cared for street parks.
– PS/MS 165
I believe the students will want to help their school while helping another community around the world. We are a very global school, families from all areas around the world and we would like to be part of the global effort to better our planet; one tree / plant at a time.
Trees help us breathe clean air.
Trees and plants make the city cool and give birds a place to live.
