During the holiday time, trees are an extremely important spiritual symbol, along with being a decoration. A lot of people will use a real trees in their living room or den. Then, they add on bright, white or colored lights and toy ornaments for the children.

Then, they place gifts underneath this beautiful part of nature. Well, what if Mother Nature was given a gift as well? What if everyone planted new trees, in order to replace the ones that were cut down?

Earth Day is an annual event that is celebrated on April 22nd. It was first celebrated in the 70s. Events are held worldwide, in order to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It is coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network and celebrated in more than 193 countries.
