:l am writing to thank Prof Liz Greenwell for initiating Global Cooperation Day. We planted 50 symbolic environmentally friendly trees around a water catchment where we have harnessed and currently building a 20000 liters tank to provide clean water to more than 10000 people through 5 stand taps. The trees shall shade and conserve the catchment, hence stabilize the water table hence ensures continues flow of water. Biodiversity as well shall be conserved. We are therefore urging every community to engage in planting trees to protect water sources. ”It doesn’t matter where you come from, you are never too big or too small to contribute to the long-term sustainability of the planet earth. By doing simple things to the best of your ability, you are improving our world.
Many communities have requested us to come and show them how to go about tree planting etc. But our greatest challenge is to acquire a transportation means..
