Banana plants in Jiffy coir pelletsWe planted 10 banana plants for Global Cooperation Day. Planting took place at our home located in a small city called ‘Demanhandiya’ in Sri Lanka. Our two sons, Yasith and Vishal prepared the land for planting with the help of an elderly person (Victor) from our local community who is an expert in planting and always help us in our planting activities. I picked the banana plants in ‘Jiffy coir pellets’ from Jiffy Sri Lanka’s model nursery. I believe that if each one of us can plant a tree then we can help to make this world a better place to live for everyone.
