Choiba_Dipteryx oleifera and Abarco_Cariniana pyrimormis
planted by Gomez, Tatiana

We are in Mecana beach in the Choco region of Colombia in the Pacific ocean, we have a small school with 10 children, we are in the tropical rain forest but many of our trees are being cut down every day by multinationals from other countries searching for exotic woods from the tropic. The two species the kids planted are in danger for this reason. Many of this trees you can only see them at www.jardinbotanicodelpacifico.org and wild life preserve which is a non profit organization, we collected the seeds and germinate them to plant them in areas that have been cut down. find us and help us protect this paradise!
