Horse chestnut
planted by ,

Last year (2014) my heart was broken when i saw my horse chestnut (grounded in 1997), down like that, broken by a wind. But the treetop was still fresh, green, alive……so i insisted to save him, to give him a chance to recover…..so here we pulled him up, tied him to 3 supportive pillars and mum took care of his wound with resin and bandages, so we prayed for our patient to heal. Worst case scenario – the youngster was already growing at his foot under the wound……but then again, heavy rain soften the ground, strong wind moved supportive pillars so ….. he is gone and now the youngster is in charge. As you can see, that was 2 months old offshoots last year. soon will post 2015 photos 🙂
