The Fairies Pyjamas has pledged to plant FOOD like tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, zucchini, eggplant, peas, carrots, spinach, kale, herbs, and EDIBLE FLOWERS. As well Milkweed for the Monarch Butterflies!Planting will be done after the first frost has past here in the great white north! So far we have sprouted seeds to seedlings and are helping them along and getting ready to plant in the ground in May. When we go buy food at the grocery store we constantly check to see where the food has travelled from. We try to buy local as much as possible. With this thought in mind, we have decided to plant food for our own tables and enough to share with our neighbours and family. We are creating a free harvest.
