Welcome to One Earth Show Forest

One Earth Show Pledge

At One Earth we are committed to making a difference to the future of the planet for future generations – not only through launching the One Earth Show which offers consumers the opportunity to come along and learn about the small positive changes they can make, but we are also committed to our own sustainability pledge and are delighted to be working with ForestNation to plant trees, to help offset the events carbon emissions, leave a positive legacy from the event and support the local communities where the forests are planted.

One Earth Action

We are working with ForestNation on our ambition to plant 100,000. One Earth will plant a tree for every ticket purchased to attend the event. In addition, we will encourage partners, exhibitors and speakers to help us reach our goal by planting additional trees with ForestNation.

One Earth Show

One Earth Show is a brand new event for all ages, to come along and discover how to make everyday day changes for a more sustainable lifestyle. The two-day event taking place on 21-22 January 2023 at the NEC Birmingham brings together consumers looking to learn about the issues facing the planet and who want to make more sustainable buying choices, with organisations, charities and suppliers who can advise and inspire. One Earth Show will host high profile speakers on the main stage, an exhibition of sustainable products and suppliers, and hands-on practical workshops for visitors to pick up tips to get started straight away. One Earth is proud to partner with ForestNation who support the event as reforestation partner, planting a tree for every visitor. In addition, the event is also supported by MyGreenPod, Pebble, First News and the NEC.

Our Social Responsibility

One Earth is committed to creating a platform to help make a difference to the planet, and as such, wherever possible we aim to have as little impact on the environment as possible. We choose to work with partners and suppliers who share the same values as us and are working together to continuously challenge and find new ways to reduce waste, energy and environmental impact.

These are just some of the steps we will take:

* Offset the event’s carbon emission
* E-ticket only event, reducing the use of paper
* Holding the event at the NEC – who are committed to delivering events that are as sustainable as possible, through their Sustain policy.
* Removing as much single-use plastic from the event as possible
* Providing locally sourced food options at the event, where the majority of produce travels no more than 30 miles and supports local businesses
* Working in partnership with public transport providers to offer visitors discounted travel to the event

And we have the ambition to plant 100,000 trees working with ForestNation. We will plant a tree for every ticket purchased to attend One Earth.

We all face challenges in trying to make a difference; thinking about how we consume and the products that we use, the events industry is no exception to that. The One Earth Show is trying to encourage a positive change in day to day lives and that includes how we deliver the event.

We believe that small changes really can make a big difference.

Thanks for supporting our work in Tanzania.

Giving back to Mother Earth

It was important to us to work with a UN approved global reforestation partner. ForestNation offered us an amazing opportunity help create sustainable livelihoods for local farming communities, providing jobs, food and education in addition to the environmental benefits of planting trees.
