Our Social Responsibility
We are proud to have raised £20,000 through a crowdfunding campaign, purely backed by our grassroots community. We want to keep The Climate App as community based as we possibly can in order to keep it out of the hands of big, polluting businesses, and ensure that we only use sustainable, ethical investment to create our app.
We are also proud of the content we have been pushing on our social media channels in the run up to our release date, regularly providing informative and educational posts about climate change and other important news for our followers.
About us
We are a start-up app that will help individuals track and reduce their carbon, while encouraging others to do the same, in a fun, easy, and social way! Think Instagram x Duolingo x Strava but all climate centred.
We wanted to make it easy for people to make small changes that add up to positive, collective change – our app will allow users to take part in carbon-cutting challenges, like going vegan for a week or shopping secondhand instead of new, the progress of which will then be shared on our Instagram-type feed!

We hope that The Climate App forest will play a vital role in removing carbon dioxide and other pollutants from the atmosphere, in order to make our air more breathable for all.
In Haiti we are re-establishing a culture of tree planting with local communities and farmers. Making landowners self-sufficient through agroforestry and educating people about reforestation benefits.
