At 20th Street Elementary, in collaboration with Tree People and First 20, we have removed more than 4,000 SF of asphalt, “where now live 30 trees.” As part of our Green Master Plan, we plan to reduce heat island effect, increase soil water absorption, in addition to needed shade and aesthetics.
