Really Clean Streets: Planting Sustainability Beyond Clean Roads

150 Trees
Really Clean Streets Forest

Really Clean Streets wanted a gift that would last longer than a typical promo item. Partnering with ForestNation, they created 150 custom Thornless Honey Locust Tree Kit pouches, each paired with a matching tree planted in Tanzania. The result was a meaningful, sustainable giveaway that looked great, delighted recipients, and proved that clean streets can also mean greener communities.

“The Tree Kits looked great, exactly what we were hoping for. ForestNation made the process smooth from start to finish.”

Clean Streets, Greener Communities

Really Clean Streets is dedicated to keeping neighborhoods safe and spotless through their street cleaning and leaf collection services. But their vision goes beyond clean streets; they wanted to make a lasting environmental impact.

That’s why they partnered with ForestNation to create custom Tree Kit pouches that blend sustainability, education, and community engagement, helping them grow their green legacy one tree at a time.

The Challenge: A Memorable, Sustainable Giveaway

Really Clean Streets was planning outreach for the fall and needed a branded gift that was:

  • Local and meaningful → a tree species suited to their region in Virginia.
  • Memorable → something recipients could connect with beyond a single use.
  • Aligned with values → a product that promoted sustainability while showcasing their brand.

They didn’t want just another promotional item. They wanted something lasting.

The Solution: Thornless Honey Locust Tree Kits

ForestNation worked closely with the team (under the project managed by Sticks and Mud Co.) to design 150 branded Thornless Honey Locust Tree Kit pouches.

Here’s what made it work:

  • 🌱 Right Species for the Region → After reviewing options like Redbud and Sourwood, they chose Honey Locust for its fast, easy growth.
  • 🎨 Custom Branding → Pouch labels designed with their artwork for maximum visibility.
  • 🌍 1-for-1 Impact → Each kit planted one matching tree in Tanzania.
  • 📦 Flexible Fulfillment → Kits produced, stored, and shipped on schedule.

The result: a gift that recipients could plant and nurture; while also helping to reforest communities abroad.

The Results: From Clean Streets to Growing Forests

By the end of the campaign, Really Clean Streets successfully launched their first sustainable gifting initiative:

  • 🌱 150 branded Tree Kits created and delivered.
  • 🌍 150 matching trees planted in Tanzania, supporting reforestation and jobs.
  • 💚 Positive reception Suzanne Abbott confirmed the kits “looked great.”
  • ✅ A smooth process from design to delivery, even with initial payment hurdles.

This project showed their community that Really Clean Streets isn’t just about cleaning up today; it’s about investing in tomorrow.

With ForestNation, every kit they shared became more than a gift; it became a tree, a forest, and a step toward a greener future.
