Named after our class teacher. Once this sapling is ready we will plant it down in our forest school for all children to enjoy.

This tree has struggled to come through so we are thrilled he’s now popping up and when he’s ready will go to his new home in our forest school.

One of our children chose to plant Patricia Portway near to a twig pile to encourage insects to visit our new trees. This is one of 15 new trees planted in our forest school.

Pepper Pig Portway has been planted in our Forest School and lovingly cared for by the Happy Hedgehog class to enrich our forest with new life.
