D&D International Forest

Members of IGC Promotions (recently rebranded into D&D International) have independently partnered with ForestNation to create meaningful environmental impact through Tree Kits, corporate gifting, and long-term tree-planting initiatives. From early distribution in Canada by TPS Promotions to ongoing programs led by Solution Group and large-scale campaigns by Image Source, these efforts show how collective action can grow forests around the world.

How Independent IGC Members Have Planted Forests Around the World

What happens when a global network of creative, values-driven businesses chooses to act for the planet?

You get forests.

This case study is not about one single company. It’s about the collective environmental impact created by members of IGC, each acting independently, yet together shaping something much bigger.

Across countries, industries, and years, IGC members have chosen to work with ForestNation in their own way. Some early. Some later. Some at scale. Some starting small.

Together, their actions have planted hundreds of thousands of trees, launched long-term reforestation programs, and turned corporate gifting into something that truly gives back.

The Big Picture: Collective Impact by IGC Members

Through individual decisions made by IGC members, the following impact has been created so far:

  • Tens of thousands of Tree Kits gifted globally
  • Long-term forests planted through ongoing programs
  • Reforestation projects supported in Tanzania and beyond
  • Employees, clients, and communities connected to real environmental action

None of this was mandated.
None of it was centrally run.

Each initiative was led by an IGC member who chose to act.

About IGC

IGC Promotions (D&D International) is a global network of independent promotional products and branded merchandise companies. Its strength lies in collaboration, shared learning, and the freedom for members to innovate independently.

That independence is exactly what makes this story powerful.

Their members planted because they believed in the idea.

TPS Promotions: Where It All Began

One of the earliest examples comes from TPS Promotions, an IGC member based in Canada.

In ForestNation’s early days, TPS became the first distributor to actively introduce Tree Kits to the Canadian market. Working independently, they helped bring ForestNation to corporate clients across the country.

In the first year alone, tens of thousands of Tree Kits were distributed, making Canada one of ForestNation’s earliest and strongest markets.

TPS didn’t just sell a product.
They helped prove that corporate gifting could grow real forests.

Solution Group: Turning Sales Into Forests

In Italy, Solution Group took a different approach.

They launched a long-term initiative where a portion of client spend directly funds tree planting. What began as a gifting idea evolved into an ongoing sustainability program that continues to grow today.

Their forest now represents consistency, not a one-off campaign.

“We do exactly the same things, but with added value. We now represent something and have a strong identity.”
Manuel Xueref, Marketing & CSR Director, Solution Group

Image Source: Scaling Sustainable Gifting in the US

Years later, other IGC members chose to take action.

Image Source, based in the United States, integrated ForestNation Tree planting efforts into large-scale campaigns for major clients and themselves!

Their work showed how sustainability could be woven into high-volume, high-visibility corporate programs without sacrificing quality or brand experience.

Mondial Gifts, GiftPoint and The Image Group: Many Paths, One Outcome

Other IGC members, including Mondial Gifts, GiftPoint and The Image Group, have used ForestNation in their own way. From client appreciation gifts to sustainability-led campaigns, each approach has been different.

What unites them is not a single program, but a shared decision.

To choose impact.

Takeaway: Independent Action, Shared Impact

This story is not about IGC as an organization running a sustainability initiative.

It is about what happens when independent members choose to act.

Without coordination.
Without obligation.
Without a playbook.

Just belief.

The collective impact created by IGC members shows what is possible when creativity, autonomy, and purpose align.

🌱 Imagine what could grow next.
