Questions Event Organisers Ask
Will this just be more swag that ends up in the bin?
No. A Tree Kit is something people plant, keep and watch grow. The cups, lids, pellets, seeds and paper leaflets are 100% compostable. If you choose pouches, they use a plant-based PLA lining made from cornstarch. The whole kit is plastic-free, so instead of landfill your guest gets a tree growing on their desk with your brand on it.
How do you guarantee the trees actually get planted?
Every Tree Gift is backed by our Grow Guarantee. We focus all of our planting in Tanzania across five reforestation sites, measured in our Working Trees field study at about 0.025 tonnes of CO2 per tree per year, with a 30 percent uncertainty discount applied. If a guest asks because their seeds did not sprout, we send more, free. Whatever happens at home, the matching trees are planted and nurtured by local communities in Tanzania, and you get the field-measured data to share with sponsors.
Are the kits compostable and green-claims compliant?
Yes, and that matters now. Under the EU ECGT, the UK CMA Green Claims Code and the US FTC Green Guides, vague eco-friendly swag is a regulatory risk, and that includes US companies. We do not make vague claims. The cups, lids, pellets, seeds and leaflets are 100% compostable, the pouch lining is plant-based PLA from cornstarch, and your impact is specific, field-measured Tanzania data you can stand behind.
Can we brand the kits for our event?
Yes. Tree Kits can carry your logo, colours, event theme and message on the cup or pouch. Or send a digital Gift Story, a branded page delivered to every attendee with no shipping and no addresses to collect.
How much work is it for our team?
Minimal. Send your logo and guest numbers. We co-brand the kits, set up your digital Gift Story and your named Forest Profile, and ship to your venue. You hand them out at registration or share the link. We can ship to one location, to multiple offices, or direct to your guests.
