Turn your event into a forest

Plant Trees for Every Event, Registration or Attendee

Choose one agreed trigger, set the tree allocation and confirm who owns the final count. ForestNation plants in Tanzania and gives your event a Forest Profile to follow and share. Attendees do not need to plant a tree or receive a gift for the programme to work.

We will help you define the trigger, exclusions, budget, reporting cadence and customer communication before the event.

How does an event planting programme work?

1. Choose the trigger and the count owner

Tie planting to the event itself, a confirmed registration, an attendee, a check-in, a booth visit or another agreed action. Name the person or team responsible for the final qualifying count.

2. Agree the allocation, budget and exclusions

Set the number of trees funded by each qualifying action and confirm the budget owner. Decide in advance how duplicate registrations, cancellations, transfers and no-shows will be treated.

3. Reconcile and report the final count

Confirm the qualifying total after the agreed cut-off. For a recurring event programme, choose a reporting cadence that fits your calendar. ForestNation will confirm the supported way to submit each total.

4. Follow and share the event forest

ForestNation plants in Tanzania and records the programme activity. Your Forest Profile gives organisers, sponsors and attendees a place to follow confirmed planting updates and methodology-based estimates. The inputs use field measurements and modelling, and individual tree outcomes vary. Read the ForestNation impact methodology.

Can an event programme work without gifts or on-site planting?

Yes. Your company can fund planting in Tanzania for an agreed event or participation rule. Attendees do not have to plant anything themselves, and the event does not need to host a local volunteering day.

If you want a recipient experience as well, add Tree Kits or Gift Stories as separate options. Each route has its own delivery, timing and scope.

Which event route fits your plan?

1. A named event forest

Fund trees for an agreed event, registration, attendee or participation rule. This is the core programme route. It can run without physical products or a personal gift.

2. Branded Tree Kits

Use a physical growing kit when you want a guest, delegate or booth visitor to take something home and care for it. Branding, quantity, production and delivery are scoped separately.

3. Digital Gift Stories

Use a Gift Story when you want to send a personal digital tree gift before or after the event. Recipient delivery and any trigger or integration are confirmed and tested separately.

Attendee & Guest Gifts

The gift they take home, plant, and remember. Attendee and guest thank-yous that outlast the event.

Engagement Campaigns

Custom quizzes, challenges and education can help your team or customers take part. Scope these separately when they fit the event.

Conferences & Trade Shows

Replace forgettable giveaways with something people take home, plant, and remember. Your brand stays front of mind long after the event.

Scale your gifting programme

For larger programmes, agree the sending, scheduling and data process in advance. Any software connection is scoped and tested separately before it is promised.

How did Happily connect events to planting?

Happily, a global event production company, links planting to the events it runs and has grown a forest of more than 100,000 trees. For selected campaigns such as TEDxHappily, an RSVP could trigger planting. The case shows how an event rule can involve guests while the planting contribution remains separately recorded.

What will the event proposal confirm?

The proposal will define the qualifying trigger, expected volume, tree allocation, exclusions, cut-off date, count owner, budget owner, reporting cadence and supported submission route. It will also separate the core planting programme from any optional Tree Kit or Gift Story work.

Questions event organisers ask

No. ForestNation can plant in Tanzania for the agreed event or participation rule. A Tree Kit is optional when you also want a physical growing experience.
Yes. Registrations, confirmed attendees, check-ins, booth visits or the event itself can be used when the rule is defined clearly and the count can be reconciled.
The programme scope defines which records qualify and when the count becomes final. Your count owner applies that rule before submitting the total.
No. The core programme funds planting in Tanzania. ForestNation should not be presented as providing a local volunteering day unless a separate service has been confirmed.
Your team submits the confirmed qualifying total through the supported route and cadence. The Forest Profile records the planting activity and displays methodology-based information that organisers can share.
Yes. Add them when you want a physical or digital gifting experience. They remain separate from the event planting rule, with their own scope, timing and delivery requirements.

Let the next event leave a forest people can follow

Imagine closing the event with more than a memory or a pile of leftover materials. A clear, accountable planting rule gives people a living record of what the event chose to support.
